Victor Tawil is the founding principal of BX Group, established to pursue differentiated investment opportunities across real estate, credit, and growth equity. Since the early 2000s, he has actively invested in multifamily, office, and hospitality properties throughout the Tri-State region, developing expertise in sourcing, acquiring, and managing high-potential assets.
Under his leadership, BX Group has grown into a multi-platform investment organization. Victor maintains active oversight of the firm’s portfolio, ensuring disciplined execution while maintaining the family office’s long-term vision and investor alignment. He also serves on executive boards for community organizations in Brooklyn and New Jersey and oversees the family’s legacy import-export business, Broadway Export LLC.
Joseph V. Tawil is a founder and executive at BX Capital, the firm’s private real estate lending platform. Since joining the family office in 2009, he has managed extensive portfolios of multifamily units and millions of square feet of commercial space, leveraging comprehensive knowledge of construction, leasing, and financing. He collaborates across BX Group’s platforms to source and execute high-conviction opportunities, reflecting a disciplined, long-term approach to value creation for investors and portfolio companies.
Michael Shamah is a founder and executive who plays a central role in advancing BX Group’s real estate lending and investment platforms. With nearly two decades of experience in private real estate lending, he has originated and managed approximately $1 billion in transactions across New York and New Jersey.
